Superstitions and ritualism go hand in hand in India and both are very deeply rooted in the highly religious society. Rich industrialists and politicians folding hands before Tantriks and Babas are not at all uncommon. In fact, many people seek blessings from controversial Godman’s and keep some amulet as a lucky charm that will ward off evil spells and bring them comfort and happiness. The charm of miracles, voodoo, and black magic never fades for the faithful.

Tej Pratap Yadav, the 29-year-old Health Minister of Bihar and son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, is taking counsel of some Baba because his name is implicated in a land deal scam.

The minister got the south facing the entrance of his Patna residence blocked for Vaastu related reasons. Now a single gate is being used for entry as well as exit.

As per some insiders, everyday mantras are being recited in his house from 8 pm to 11 pm. The purpose behind this ritualism is to defeat his enemies and those conspiring against him. The priest conducting this ritual has assured him that this powerful mantra never fails.

Tej Pratap has also started wearing Rudraksha these days.

His father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, is also a devout believer in Vastu and it is said he is also a disciple of some Baba.
