Taking motion sensors and voice commands to a whole new level, the Taiwanese cellphone manufacturer HTC, has launched a smartphone which can be operated with just a squeeze.

The HTC U11 has a new innovative feature known as edge sense. A squeeze along the edges of the phone can be used to open apps, cameras, games etc. Squeeze feature will operate with the help of pressure sensors which are located just below the volume controls.

With a single squeeze, pictures can be clicked using both front and rear camera, text messages can be sent and voice recognition enabled. This will save a lot of time of the users.

The 5.5-inch screen smartphone will also have a light sensor, fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor and a magnetic sensor. It has a Snapdragon 835 processor, 64/ 128 GB storage and 4/6 GB RAM, depending on the variant. The operating system will be Android 7.11.

The phone will be available at 650 British Pound. It will be launched in the UK in June, and will be available in four colours – silver, blue, black and white.
