In October 2018, Alok Nath was accused of rape by producer-actor Vinta Nanda. Later, a case was also filed by Mumbai Police. Followed by the shocking account of rape and molestation, he was also expelled from Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA). Since then, Alok Nath is lying low but interestingly, he is now back to work and playing an important role in the upcoming movie #MainBhi which is based on #MeToo campaign.

As per the report published in Mumbai Mirror, Alok Nath is playing a judge in this movie who takes a strict stand against sexual abuse. Isn’t it ironic?
