Gautam Gambhir adds another feather to his philanthropy cap; starts a free community kitchen in New Delhi

Gautam Gambhir, the stylish left-hand batsman who helped India lift the ICC World Cup in 2011 is also the man with a big heart. Captain of Kolkata Knight Riders is known for his various contributions towards social causes. He has now started a free community kitchen in West Delhi. It started functioning from Monday. The cricketer himself supervised the Day 1 operations in the West Patel Nagar area.

For Gambhir, launching the daily free kitchen is nothing short of winning a cricket World Cup or an IPL tournament. In a message to his audience, he announced this decision. 

Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir Foundation is engaged in various philanthropic activities. His decision of free kitchen is now going to feed the poor free of cost in New Delhi’s Patel Nagar. This is going to be the first community kitchen. 

This cricketer has been also previously lauded for such humanly stand towards the community. Once again through the initiative of a free kitchen, he has won the hearts of many.
